Continuous Fiber Laser Welding Machine
Equipment Introduction
The LWF series fiber laser welding machine is different from traditional solid-state lasers that use crystal rods as the laser medium. The laser medium of fiber lasers is a long ytterbium doped double clad fiber, which is pumped by high-power multimode laser diodes. The generated laser has the characteristics of good beam quality and high energy, and has many unique advantages in the field of laser welding applications. This device has the following advantages:
▪ Good beam quality, high energy, suitable for high-speed and high-precision welding
Compared with traditional lamp pumped laser welding machines, the LWF series fiber laser welding machine has the characteristics of good beam quality and small divergence angle. Compared with traditional laser welding machines, it has great advantages in welding efficiency and weld seam effect in high-speed and high-precision welding.
▪ Compact size, achieving portability
The LWF series fiber laser welding machine is lightweight and compact, saving space and facilitating transportation compared to lamp pumped solid-state laser welding machines. The laser transmission fiber can reach up to 15m, which can adapt to the requirements of changing processing locations and achieve product portability.
▪ Stable laser output power and high equipment reliability
Energy fluctuations below 2% ensure stable laser welding quality. The average usage time of laser pump sources can reach over 50000 hours, which is about 100 times that of lamp pumped laser welding machines.
▪ High efficiency, low energy consumption, and cost savings in usage
The electro-optical conversion efficiency is as high as 30%. The overall power of the FRZ-LWF500C is only 4000W, which is 1/3 of the ordinary 300W lamp pumped solid-state laser welding machine.
The average energy consumption is about 1/10 of the ordinary welding machine. It can save users a lot of energy consumption expenses for long term using.
▪ Control system
Using dedicated motion control software, the electric worktable is controlled to complete the workpiece welding work according to the set trajectory. The welding path can be edited arbitrarily. In addition, a vibrating mirror worktable, robot or line following automation design can be selected to meet various welding requirements of customers.
Application areas
The LWF series fiber laser welding machine is widely used in optical communication devices, IT device, Precision welding of aviation components, fuel injectors, diesel common rail systems, solenoid valves, precision clock parts, automotive headlights, and other products.
